As a career long "road warrior" and enthusiastic home gardener, Joe Schulte learned over many gardening seasons how to design and maintain a productive garden while achieving 1-K status traveling the world. The Executive Garden system is cleverly articulated in "A CEO's Guide to the Garden". This easy read book is a blend of practical advice for the novice gardener set against a humorous look at corporate culture.
Besides being a published author, Joe is an award winning graphic artist, producing all of the charming illustrations in "A CEO's Guide". Joe and his photographer wife, Catherine, live much of the year in North Carolina while summering in Door County, Wisconsin. Both locations provide plenty of inspiration for Joe's other avocation, oil painting . He has participated in juried shows, is a juried member of the Oil Painters of America , Associated Artists of Southport, Wilmington Area Artists, and The Peninsula School of Art. He has studied painting at Boston College, the Toledo Museum of Fine Art School, The Peninsula School of Art and The Clearing. His impressionistic style adds great depth and atmosphere to the landscape and still life subjects that are the focus of his work.
